Responsibilities Review civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to verify compliance with standards and requirements Conduct regular on-site inspections of construction activities to observe and document workmanship and materials Coordinate with testing laboratories to oversee quality control testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials Identify quality control issues and work with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities and findings Provide technical guidance and training to field crews on quality control best practices Collaborate with project managers to ensure quality objectives are met within schedule and budget constraints
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Strong working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and industry regulations Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
