Key Responsibilities and Competencies
1. Field Photography and Videography Coverage
Provide professional visual documentation of INARA s activities across program locations.
Tasks:
- Provide on-site coverage of INARA s programs, field activities, community events, and project milestones through professional photography and videography.
- Capture high-quality visual materials that illustrate program implementation, beneficiary engagement, and project outcomes.
- Travel to project sites when required to document field activities, including medical interventions, psychosocial support sessions, community programs, and humanitarian distributions.
- Ensure visual documentation reflects the dignity, resilience, and lived experiences of children and families served by INARA.
- Coordinate with field teams to plan filming and photography schedules in alignment with program activities.

2. Video Production and Storytelling
The role will contribute to the development of compelling visual narratives that communicate INARA s impact.
Tasks:
- Produce high-quality video content that documents INARA s interventions, success stories, and program achievements.
- Film interviews with beneficiaries, staff, and partners in a respectful and ethical manner.
- Develop short documentary pieces, program highlight videos, and impact stories for public communications.
- Support the creation of video content for donor reports, advocacy campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the communications team to identify impactful stories from the field.
Key Competencies:
- Strong storytelling and narrative development skills.
- Ability to translate complex humanitarian work into clear and engaging visual content.
- Interviewing and human-centered storytelling techniques.
- Understanding of humanitarian communication principles.
3. Photo and Video Editing
Ensure all visual materials meet professional production standards.
Tasks:
- Edit photographs and video footage using professional editing software to produce polished and compelling content.
- Prepare visual materials optimized for multiple formats including social media, website content, reports, and presentations.
- Add subtitles, graphics, and basic animations where appropriate to enhance video storytelling.
- Ensure consistency in tone, quality, and visual identity across all produced content.
- Deliver edited materials in a timely manner to support communications and reporting deadlines.
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong attention to visual quality, color grading, and sound design.
- Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
4. Content Planning and Creative Development
Contribute to the planning and development of creative communication materials.
Tasks:
- Participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for visual storytelling, campaigns, and digital engagement.
- Support the development of visual content strategies aligned with INARA s communication goals.
- Assist in planning thematic campaigns, awareness initiatives, and donor communication materials.
- Propose innovative approaches to enhance INARA s visual storytelling and digital presence.

5. Coordination with Program and Communications Teams
Ensure visual documentation accurately reflects program activities and messaging.
Tasks:
- Work closely with program teams to identify activities that require visual documentation.
- Coordinate with communications staff to ensure alignment with INARA s messaging and branding guidelines.
- Ensure accurate representation of project outcomes, beneficiaries, and program activities in visual materials.
- Support communications staff in producing multimedia materials for advocacy, fundraising, and reporting.

6. Ethical Documentation and Safeguarding

- Obtain appropriate consent from beneficiaries and caregivers prior to capturing images or video footage.
- Protect the privacy, dignity, and safety of children and vulnerable individuals represented in visual materials.
- Ensure that visual storytelling avoids harmful stereotypes or misrepresentation.
