Assisting Medical Leader/Occupational Health Physician in pre-employment & periodic medical checkup,

Carry out various occupational health related tests & keep proper record of them like-audiometry, Lung function test etc. as deemed necessary by Medical leader,

To give health related awareness to employees by various trainings and events,

Assist in rehabilitation and return to work programs,
-
Implementation of strong and qualitative vaccination programs,

Arrangement, co-ordination and proper implementation of health diagnostic campaigns,
-
Participate in ergonomic assessments of the workplace & trainings,
-
Conduct monthly workplace inspections including equipment checks for basic and advanced life support,
-
Work in a multi-disciplinary team with HS&E, HR and Management to promote employee health safety and well-being,
-
Review employees medical cases who have any one period exceeding 3 days sickness absence,
-
Give training of first aid, basic life support with AED, industrial hygiene, safe food handling, and other trainings under guidance of occupational health physician. Prepare training data & identify target audience for all these trainings,

Take active part in various mock drills, rescue drills and live demonstrations,
-
Proper implementation of emergency medical plan in case of emergencies,
-
Liaise with managers and site Occupational Health Physician in managing the sickness absence cases facilitating appropriate referrals,
-
Track, schedule & conduct appropriate regular medical testing for P&G employees in critical roles, i.e. fork lift truck drivers, confined spaces,
-
Track, schedule & conduct relevant health surveillance to employees working with hazards i.e. spirometry, skin prick testing plus audiometry/vision testing at appropriate time intervals,
-
Ensure at risk employees are aware of the procedure to obtain post exposure prophylactic treatment in the event of an exposure incident,
-
Maintain record of vaccinations for employees needing it in relation to their responsibilities, (including but not limited to 1st aiders, healthcare team, food handlers, sewage handers, etc.),

Ensure that all wearers of respirators do have medical clearance by the site physician/occupational health physician,
-
Provide medical advice in relation to business travel,
-
Initiate, conduct & maintain a process for site health risk analysis & health needs analysis,
There are some other criteria like legal requirements, audit compliance, local & regional need etc.

Review pre-placement health assessment documentation completion, conduct any relevant screening and refer to physician if required for medical examination,

Keep her/his Medical knowledge up to date in terms of new technologies, new relevant medical equipment, health related laws, internal company regional and global health related policies & systems,

Compliance of audit as per local, regional and global requirements,
-
Adhere to HSKE (Health System Key Elements) requirements and other organizational rules and regulations,
-
Ensure that all relevant confidentiality & PII handling rules are followed rigorously amongst all site medical team, as well as safekeep company proprietary and business data,
-
Proper use of medical instruments and facilities, as well as ensuring functionality, timely maintenance of relevant devices as well as ensure proper use by contracted physicians,
-
Ensure that all employees do have a medical record with pertinent information and updated always. Ensure that other contractor or non-P&G employee categories do have pertinent data,

Record keeping & maintenance: Ensure that all medical records are well kept and organized, and retention limits are according to P&G guidelines & local laws

Follow medical guidance of company Medical Leader and site occupational health physician as per the business need,

Advise employees and managers regarding work-related health issues,
-
Participate in the site disability management process as stipulated by site physician.
