The Junior Structural Design Engineer Location: Head Office: 11 Cairo University Stuff Housing – Gate 4 – Giza Working Hours & Days: from 8 to 5 or 9 to 6 + One hour break Full Time - On Site Insurance Medical and Socialwill assist in the analysis, design, and detailing of reinforced concrete structures in accordance with the Egyptian Code (ECP). The role involves preparing structural calculations, design models, and construction drawings under the guidance of senior structural engineers. Technical Responsibilities •Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete elements including columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and foundations.• Use SP Column for column design and verification.• Prepare manual and software-based structural calculations in compliance with ECP.• Develop and modify structural drawings using Auto CAD, including plans, sections, and details.• Prepare calculation notes, design sheets, and technical documentation using MS Excel and Word. • Review design outputs for constructability, accuracy, and code compliance.• Coordinate structural inputs with architectural and MEP requirements. Mandatory Technical Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering).• Cumulative GPA: Good or above.• Proficient in Auto CAD.• Working knowledge of SP Column.• Solid understanding of the Egyptian Code for Design and Construction of Reinforced Concrete Structures (ECP).• Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel for calculations and Word for reports. Preferred / Additional Skills• Knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo.• Experience or academic exposure to STAAD Pro.• Familiarity with Tekla Structures.
