Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Senior Contracts Engineer for an on-site, full-time position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Contracts Engineer’s responsibilities will include reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals. Key tasks include analyzing contract terms, mitigating risk, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards, and supporting project execution by liaising with stakeholders. The Senior Contracts Engineer will also play a pivotal role in managing claims and disputes, ensuring efficient resolution while maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
Qualifications Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, with a focus on the construction industry. Proficiency in claims management, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution processes. Experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Thorough understanding of contract law, construction standards, and local regulations. Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems related to contract management and project estimation. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in contract engineering within the construction industry.
