Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Manager | Operations Lead located in Suez. The role involves overseeing construction projects from conception to completion, managing daily operations, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, budgets, and timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, managing resources, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The role requires regular communication with stakeholders and the ability to solve problems efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Project Management: Strong knowledge of construction project management, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documents related to architecture and construction. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks effectively, and manage cross-functional teams on-site. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills, especially under pressure. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Health and Safety: Knowledge of construction safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on-site. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction management or operations leadership; experience with large-scale construction projects preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) are advantageous. Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
