E-Commerce Operation Specialist (Clothing & Apparel)
Location: On-site | Markaz Tanta Type: Full-time
Role Overview As our E-Commerce Operation Specialist, you will be the engine behind our digital storefront. In the fast-paced world of fashion, timing is everything. You will manage the entire lifecycle of an order—from the moment a customer clicks "buy" to the second the package arrives at their door. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, logistics coordination, and a sharp eye for clothing retail trends.
Key Responsibilities1. Storefront & Inventory Management Manage product listings, including uploading high-quality images, writing compelling product descriptions, and ensuring accurate sizing charts. Monitor stock levels in real-time to prevent "out-of-stock" scenarios during peak shopping seasons or flash sales. Update pricing, discounts, and promotional banners across all sales channels.2. Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery Courier Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping partners (e.g., Aramex, Bosta, Mylerz). Dispatch Management: Ensure all daily orders are packed according to brand standards and ready for courier pickup. Tracking & Problem Solving: Proactively track shipments and resolve delivery delays, failed attempts, or "Return to Origin" (RTO) issues. Shipping Optimization: Analyze shipping costs and delivery times to recommend the most efficient courier for specific regions.3. Data Analytics & Reporting Track daily sales performance, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV). Monitor and report on the Return Rate, specifically identifying if certain clothing items have consistent fit or quality issues. Provide actionable insights to the management team to help scale high-performing categories.4. Customer Excellence & Returns Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, sizing advice, and exchange requests via phone, email, or social media. Manage the "Reverse Logistics" process: inspecting returned clothing for quality before restocking or processing refunds.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. Logistics Savvy: Proven experience dealing with Egyptian shipping and delivery companies. You should understand how COD (Cash on Delivery) cycles work. Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to pivot data and find trends. Communication: Fluent in Arabic with a professional command of English (especially for navigating software and communicating with corporate partners). Fashion Interest: A genuine interest in the clothing industry and an understanding of garment types and fabrics is a major plus.
