Work Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in customs or trade compliance, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in large multinational companies, reputable logistics providers, or the telecommunications industry is preferred. Language Skills Working languages: Arabic and English. Knowledge of Chinese is a strong plus. Professional Competencies Regulations & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of Egyptian customs laws, trade regulations, and related procedures, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply them in daily operations. Operational Expertise: Proficient in customs declaration, inspection, freight forwarding processes, HS classification, valuation, and handling customs-related issues or exceptions. Risk Management: Strong capability in identifying, assessing, and mitigating customs risks; able to build an effective compliance and risk control framework. Cost Control: Skilled in analyzing customs-related cost structures and formulating cost optimization strategies, improving efficiency through streamlined clearance processes. System Proficiency: Familiar with Nafeza, Cargo X, and other relevant platforms, with solid skills in data entry, analysis, and reporting.
