Job Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing daily production plans while ensuring smooth operations across all shifts. The role focuses on meeting daily production targets according to predefined quality and efficiency standards, increasing productivity, and minimizing waste in time, materials, and effort.
Key Responsibilities:Production & Operations Prepare and implement daily production plans Ensure production orders are completed on schedule and as per specifications Monitor shift performance and resolve operational issues and breakdowns Supervise pasteurization processes and ensure correct execution Oversee filling and packaging operations to ensure product quality and accurate weights Operate and monitor production through SCADA control systems Follow up on CIP cleaning processes (daily & weekly) and document reports Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, and lines (5S implementation) Efficiency & Waste Reduction Lead initiatives to reduce production time loss, material waste, and operating costs Monitor raw material consumption and minimize unnecessary losses Review daily shift achievements and identify improvement areas Team Supervision & Training Distribute engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers across shifts effectively Train engineers, technicians, supervisors, and new employees Deputize for the Production Supervisor when needed Quality & Reporting Prepare and review production and pasteurization reports Record production, consumption, and waste data in company systems Conduct lab sampling and make process adjustments to meet required standards Issue product addition permits (finished & in-process goods) Coordinate with the Production Manager for plan updates Inventory & Materials Calculate packaging and raw material needs per shift Monitor material issuance, returns, and weekly/monthly inventory counts Prepare weekly raw material plans and track daily usage
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in food agriculture or science Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment Skills:Strong communication and leadership skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Team motivation and work environment management Task organization and time management Ability to analyze data and apply basic statistical/mathematical calculations Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing production conditions
