  • Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure continuous and efficient plant performance. 
  • Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices related to ammonia handling (e.g., OSHA, IIAR standards). 
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and piping systems. 
  • Monitor system performance and energy consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction. 
  • Supervise and manage the refrigeration team (engineers, technicians, and operators), including task allocation, training, and performance evaluation. 
  • Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime. 
  • Coordinate with production and utilities teams to align refrigeration capacity with operational requirements. 
  • Ensure proper documentation of system operations, maintenance records, and incident reports. 
  • Lead emergency response procedures related to ammonia leaks or system failures, ensuring personnel and facility safety. 
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components. 
  • Support capital projects related to refrigeration systems, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations. 
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure system integrity, safety compliance, and operational excellence. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
