Job Details

The Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for driving commercial performance and operational excellence across the sales and marketing functions. The role focuses on optimizing sales processes, strengthening capabilities, improving productivity, and ensuring data-driven decision-making to support sustainable business growth.
2. Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Performance • Support the development and execution of commercial strategies aligned with business objectives. • Monitor sales performance and provide insights to improve productivity and effectiveness. • Identify opportunities to enhance commercial outcomes and market competitiveness.
Sales Effectiveness • Design and implement frameworks that improve sales force effectiveness and field execution. • Standardize sales processes, tools, and best practices across teams. • Support sales planning, targeting, segmentation, and resource allocation.
Data Analysis & Insights • Analyze sales and market data to generate actionable insights for leadership. • Develop reports and dashboards that support informed commercial decision-making. • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities.
Capability Development • Identify capability gaps and support the development of sales and commercial teams. • Collaborate with training and HR teams to enhance skills and performance standards. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and commercial discipline.
Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. • Support product launches, commercial initiatives, and business transformation projects.
3. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). • 8–12 years of experience in commercial operations, sales management, or commercial excellence roles. • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare is highly preferred.
