About the Role You will play a key role in improving departmental efficiency, maintaining quality standards, supporting training systems, and ensuring smooth knitting operations aligned with customer and production targets.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain strong housekeeping practices. Review, develop, and improve department training systems and processes. Deliver and track training programs while achieving defined training targets. Conduct regular informal audits to ensure procedures, machine usage, and operational standards are followed. Monitor daily QC checks and assess fabric risks with the production team. Track efficiency, cycle times, and WIP to ensure targets are met. Investigate and resolve fabric faults, quality issues, and employee-related concerns. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery performance and process efficiency. Support audit readiness and meet customer requirements. Handle analysis and risk reports. Manage styles for international brands. Train new team members on full project flow from order receipt to shipment to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Support talent development and help build a high-performance department culture.
What We’re Looking For Diploma or Bachelor’s in Textile Engineering (Knitting / Weaving / Spinning).3–5 years of experience in textile manufacturing. Strong knowledge of textile production processes and machine troubleshooting. Experience with ERP reporting and quality standards (ISO awareness). Lean / 5S knowledge is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to train, guide, and develop team members.
