We are seeking a skilled Polyester Yarn Twisting Supervisor to oversee twisting operations within our textile manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and managing machine operations and workforce in the twisting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of polyester yarn twisting machines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance when required.
- Control yarn quality, twist levels, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Minimize waste and optimize material utilization.
- Coordinate with planning and production teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Train and guide operators on machine handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 4–8 years of experience in yarn twisting operations, preferably polyester yarn.Strong knowledge of twisting machines and yarn processing techniques.Understanding of yarn quality parameters and testing methods.Leadership and team supervision skills.Ability to handle shift operations and work under pressure.Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with different types of twisting machines (e.g., Two-for-One (TFO), Ring Twisting).Familiarity with maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
