Lead the design and development of water supply and wastewater network systems in compliance with international standards and local regulations. • Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and analysis using specialized software (e.g., Water CAD, Sewer CAD) to optimize network performance. • Develop detailed design drawings, profiles, and layouts using Auto CAD Civil 3D and other BIM tools. • Conduct demand forecasting, flow analysis, and capacity planning for infrastructure systems. • Review and validate design calculations, technical reports, and engineering deliverables. • Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities with other engineering teams (roads, utilities, structural, and MEP). • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and tender documents. • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations. • Provide technical support during construction phases and respond to site queries (RFIs). • Evaluate design alternatives and implement cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions. • Participate in value engineering processes to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs. • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and governmental authorities for design approvals. • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential design and implementation challenges. • Mentor junior engineers and oversee their technical outputs (for senior roles). • Prepare high-quality technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). • Minimum 10 years of experience in the design of water and wastewater networks. • Proven experience in infrastructure projects within consulting firms or real estate development companies. • Strong expertise in hydraulic modeling software (Water CAD, Sewer CAD, or similar). • Proficiency in Auto CAD Civil 3D and other relevant design/BIM tools. • Solid knowledge of international standards (e.g., AWWA, BS, or local authority regulations). • Experience in preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents. • Strong coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently. • Professional certifications (PMP or similar) are an advantage. • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
