Accountabilities:Evaluates the Submitted Change orders by the consultant comparing to the market norm and benchmarks& ensure it is complied with Company’s policies and procedures. Revises the projects B. O. Q, Contracts clauses and assure to be reflected to the submitted Invoices for the approval. Allocates the cost (actual & commitment) to the projects and comparing it with the budget lines. Prepares the Cumulative Qs sheet for the projects and compare it with the approved B. O. Q and give a forecasted for the Budget completion regarding QS and B. O. Q. Revises & approve the inventory transactions for the materials used in constructions. Prepares project’s Final accounts and updated it on monthly basis. Prepares comparison lists & Participate with the PM and the design team to review the technical specifications of the bids submitted by suppliers. Surveys quantities through project’s shop drawing and owner/consultant BOQ and any additional resources. Assists in preparing the final BOQ/invoices of the project. Responsible to control and monitor projects including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Performs project costing-related reporting to the team and management's review monthly to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil / architecture engineering / project management only3+ years’ experience as a costing engineer. Proficient with Auto CAD and Revit is a must. Proactive in researching business best practice concepts to apply as appropriate. Good knowledge with Using “Master Format “CSI format regarding preparing and revising the B. O. Qs. Knowledge of using ERP system is an advantage. Very good communication skills along with good or developing negotiation skills. Proficient with MS office skills specially Microsoft Excel is a must.
