Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Smart Village for an Area Manager Soft Services (Housekeeping). The Area Manager will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all facilities meet high cleanliness and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include managing and training housekeeping staff, conducting regular site inspections, maintaining schedules, reporting and resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management and team leadership within soft services or facilities management. Expertise in housekeeping, cleaning standards, and customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards. Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management skills to effectively oversee multiple sites and teams. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges and resolve client concerns effectively. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Proficiency in the use of industry-related tools and technology is an advantage. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the facilities management sector is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in facility management, hospitality, or a related field is highly advantageous.
