Business Line:Electrical Products Location:10th of Ramadan
Key Accountabilities:Develop and execute mechanical designs for transformers in accordance with defined standards and specifications. Prepare mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation using CAD tools. Select materials and components based on established guidelines and cost-performance trade-offs. Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to address design issues during manufacturing. Provide inputs to tendering teams for new proposals and product modifications. Participate in troubleshooting during development and prototyping phases. Ensure compliance with drafting standards, design accuracy, and documentation practices. Contribute to improvement initiatives for cost reduction and design efficiency. Maintain awareness of updates in design tools, methods, and industry practices.
Qualifications & Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering+2 years of experience in Mechanical design Proficiency in Mechanical design software such as Solid Works ( parts , assembly , sheet metal , releasing workshop drawings , BOM )/ Auto CAD / sheet metal / welding , machining process Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and/or Autodesk products is also required. Strong computer skills Effective communication in a cross-functional environment Flexibility and ability to multitask Ability to work effectively within a team environment Highly motivated and willing to learn Ability to seek innovative approaches
