Job Purpose: Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment in the wafer production lines by executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans, analyzing mechanical breakdowns, and participating in the development and improvement of machinery performance to achieve maximum operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities and Duties: • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance plans for all wafer production lines. • Analyze recurring mechanical breakdowns, identify root causes, and propose effective corrective actions. • Provide technical supervision to maintenance technicians during routine and emergency repairs. • Review daily breakdown records and accurately enter maintenance data. • Ensure the operational readiness of key equipment such as wafer lines, chocolate processing machines, forming units, wrapping machines, and conveying systems. • Coordinate with the Production Department to minimize downtime and maintain balance between maintenance and production priorities. • Contribute to machine development projects and mechanical design improvements to enhance efficiency. • Monitor the availability of critical spare parts and raise purchase requests in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards during all maintenance activities. • Prepare detailed technical reports on breakdowns, maintenance activities, and periodic overhauls, and submit them to the Maintenance Manager. • Participate in training programs to enhance the technical skills of maintenance technicians. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 5–7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the food manufacturing industry. • Strong technical knowledge of factory utilities and support systems (boilers, chillers, air compressors). • High proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and performing spare part fabrication in workshops. • Excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics. • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
