Job Title: Logistics Specialist

*Job Purpose*

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage our end-to-end supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of our fresh and frozen products from our packing houses in Ismailia to our global partners, ensuring cost-efficiency and strict adherence to shipping timelines.

Key Responsibilities

* Shipment Coordination: Manage all export bookings (Ocean and Air) for fresh citrus (Valencia, Murcott) and frozen products (IQF Strawberries).

* Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificates.

* Carrier Management: Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.

* Tracking & Problem Solving: Monitor shipment status from ETD to ETA, proactively resolving any delays, customs issues, or technical roadblocks at the port.

* Reefer Logistics: Ensure strict compliance with temperature-controlled (Reefer) shipping requirements to maintain product integrity and freshness.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Production teams to align shipment schedules with harvest cycles and customer deadlines.

* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and provide weekly reports on shipping costs and performance metrics.

Job Requirements

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce.

* Experience: 1–3 years of experience in export logistics, specifically within the Agriculture/Fresh and Frizen Produce sector.

* Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel is a must).

* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo or Oracle) is a plus.

* Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and international shipping regulations.

* Languages: Good command of both written and spoken English.

* Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure during peak seasons, and strong attention to detail.
