As a  Legal Counsel, you will work closely with our General Counsel to handle all complex legal matters and projects, as part of the Legal team in Egypt.
You will ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise our company on legal rights and duties.
You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and following up on various contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.
g. corporate governance, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, employment, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents).
Develop company policy(ies) and position on legal issues.
Research, anticipate and guard the company against legal risks.
Guide managers and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents, as required.
Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.
). Draft and administer all contracts and agreements.
Negotiate deals and contract terms where required and attend company meetings.
Assist in the follow-up and processing of a variety of contract document requirements.
Evaluate contract compliance and advise on contractual rights and obligations.
Collaborate with the various internal departments on contract requirements.
Conduct training on the contract process for the departments.
Liaise with government authorities in relation to the establishment and maintenance of contracts.
Organise and maintain contracts in a paper or electronic filing system.
Provide general administrative support for the Legal team.

Bar Association Membership.
Experience At least 5 to 8 years of similar experience.
Experience working as a TMT lawyer (data privacy, telecoms, strategic sourcing and IT advisory matters ).
Knowledge Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
. Proven background in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws).
Skills Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to multi-task effectively, manage time-sensitive documents, and have exceptional organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, Bilingual Arabic-English proficiency.
Traits Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment Excellent academics, drafting skills and the ability to grasp and navigate complex legal matters.
Well organised and capable of managing multiple matters efficiently and prioritising appropriately.
Flexibility and willingness to work in other practice areas, corporate law, etc.
Articulate, with strong commercial acumen.
