About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our growing team in a factory specialized in coating and lamination of paper and nonwoven materials with polyethylene via extrusion. Our production also includes die-cutting, slitting, and printing of multi-layer composite materials used in various industries.
Responsibilities Supervise and manage production operations for extrusion coating, lamination, and post-processing (slitting, die cutting, printing). Prepare the forecast and actual schedules for the production plan. Monitor the material consumption and compare it with the forecasted figures. Manage and supervise a team of technicians and operators. Oversee the setup and optimization of machines used in bonding paper, foil, nonwoven, and other substrates. Ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met throughout the production process. Coordinate with the quality team and maintenance team to ensure seamless operation. Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Production, Mechanical, Materials, or Mechatronics.3 to 6 years of relevant experience in plastic processing, paper machines, extrusion, or flexible packaging. Strong understanding of plastic and paper materials and their behaviour under heat and pressure. Ability to examine machine performance and implement improvements. Strong leadership and communication skills.
