Your responsibilities

Main Duties:


  • Activities are performed safely and in compliance with the applicable project OSH policy, local laws and statutory requirements, such as relevant tkIS guidelines or directives
  • Construction activities are executed according to contractual obligations / specifications with regard to quality and time schedule
  • Communication with subcontractors’ field personnel

Responsibilities:


  • Control construction work packages for his/her discipline and area with respect to personnel, equipment, materials and documents, incl. availability of method statements, risk assessment and work permits
  • Supervise construction activities carried out by the subcontractors with respect to compliance with project specifications, safe working procedures and support pre-
  • commissioning activities
  • Prepare deviation reports
  • Cooperate with other disciplines
  • Monitor qualification of subcontractors’ personnel together with the Site QA/QC Manager
  • Monitor suitability of subcontractors’ equipment
  • Conduct spot checks to verify that construction drawings used are latest revision
  • Execute field inspections, record and clear punch items
  • Compile and check as-built documentation from subcontractor(s)
  • Support discipline progress evaluation
  • Report Daily Site Log
  • Support subcontract management, e.g. review quantity surveys, sign off time sheets for extra work orders
  • Support inspection of incoming goods



Your profileEducation & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Professional certification or membership (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH, ISO training) is a plus.
Experience
  • 710+ years of experience in civil construction on largescale industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
  • Proven experience supervising site construction activities and managing subcontractors.
  • Strong background in reviewing and controlling construction work packages, method statements, risk assessments, and work permits.
  • Experience coordinating with QA/QC, multidiscipline engineering teams, and precommissioning activities.
  • Demonstrated experience with punch list clearance, field inspections, and asbuilt documentation.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, project specifications, drawings, and revisions control.
  • Solid understanding of OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) requirements and safe work practices.
  • Ability to evaluate subcontractor qualifications, personnel, equipment suitability, and compliance with standards.
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors and multidiscipline teams.
  • Problemsolving mindset and ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work fulltime on construction sites.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
