Job Details

  • Assist the Department Manager in developing the annual manpower plan in line with operational needs.
  • Turn operational plans into detailed implementation schedules to meet required standards.
  • Participate in identifying manpower, tools, and material requirements.
  • Receive supplies and furniture from vendors, distribute them as needed, and monitor usage to ensure proper and efficient consumption.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to monitor the quality of supplies, consumption levels, stock balances, and issue material release orders.
  • Monitor the stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages to avoid any disruption in operations.
  • Implement the housekeeping work schedule as planned.
  • Develop detailed cleaning checklists for each area (indoor and outdoor) in coordination with supervisors and ensure their proper use.
  • Supervise the work of supervisors to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections across all areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Ensure optimal use of cleaning materials and equipment; investigate any cases of damage or misuse.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely maintenance and repair.
  • Assist the Department Manager in developing contingency plans to address operational challenges.
  • Investigate complaints related to service quality or equipment performance and resolve them within authority limits or escalate to management when necessary.
  • Prepare reports on variances in material consumption rates and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit required periodic reports to the direct manager.
  • Follow up on the completion of performance appraisals and objective-setting on time, ensuring all related documents are signed and submitted to the HR office.
  • Continuously enhance staff performance and customer satisfaction through coaching and skill development.
  • Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and practical job tasks.
  • Evaluate the performance of cleaning staff and supervisors regularly.
  • Ensure all department staff comply with uniform and personal hygiene standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Act as the Department Manager in their absence.
  • Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.
