  • Lead electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities for the machines to achieve high uptime and equipment reliability.
  • Analyze and resolve complex electrical faults in classic (relay-based) control systems as well as modern automated systems, including rapid diagnosis during breakdowns to minimize production losses.
  • Review, interpret, approve, and update electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and control designs to ensure accuracy, safety, code compliance, and optimal integration.
  • Manage variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLC-based control systems, motion control, HMI interfaces, industrial sensors, instrumentation, and related automation; perform configuration, parameter tuning, diagnostics, and optimization.
  • Plan, develop, and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs (e.g., condition monitoring, thermal imaging, vibration analysis) to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with production teams, machine operators, maintenance personnel, quality, and engineering to support smooth operations, quick issue resolution, and effective implementation of process/equipment changes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior and senior electrical technicians; allocate tasks, provide technical leadership and training, conduct performance reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices, safety standards, and plant procedures.
  • Proactively plan spares inventory, obsolescence mitigation, system upgrades, capital projects, and electrical modifications; lead or support execution of major repairs and improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare, review, and present technical reports, breakdown/root-cause analyses, maintenance documentation, KPI tracking (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, downtime by cause), and recommendations for management review and continuous improvement.
