Position Title: Manager-Corporate Projects Location: New Delhi Reporting To: Operations Head/ Directors Role Purpose : To lead, govern, and standardize projects across all manufacturing locations, ensuring optimal technology adoption, operational efficiency, energy optimization, compliance, safety, and return on investment (ROI) for all CAPEX initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Governance & Execution • Oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of electrical and instrumentation projects across all manufacturing locations. • Lead E&I projects from conceptual design through execution, commissioning, and final delivery. • Ensure project execution aligns with corporate engineering standards, timelines, budgets, and business priorities. • Review, verify, and approve engineering deliverables submitted by consultants and contractors. 2. CAPEX Evaluation & Commercial Governance • Conduct detailed technical and commercial evaluations of CAPEX proposals submitted by factories. • Validate project feasibility, financial viability, ROI calculations, and budgeting assumptions. • Recommend project prioritization based on operational impact, risk, and payback. 3. Technology & Line Efficiency Enhancement • Identify and implement latest technologies, automation solutions, and advanced equipment to improve production line efficiency and reliability. • Support factories in selecting and evaluating equipment design to achieve high Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). • Drive innovation and automation initiatives to resolve plant bottlenecks and improve throughput. 4. Energy Efficiency & Digitization • Propose and implement energy efficiency initiatives across factories, including power optimization and load management. • Lead digitization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0, including smart monitoring and automation systems. • Develop ROI models and business cases for energy and digital transformation projects. 5. Engineering Documentation Review & Approval • Layout drawings and cable schedules • PCC, MCC, PLC, and RIO panels • Bus ducts and Single Line Diagrams (SLD) • Lighting systems and lightning protection systems • Connected load lists and load diversity factor calculations • APFC panels and cable tray routing • Packing machine electrical integration • PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings • URS (User Requirement Specifications) Control philosophy documentation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • CAPEX ROI realization • Improvement in plant OEE • Reduction in energy cost per unit • Project completion adherence (Time & Cost) • Electrical audit compliance score • Reduction in breakdown frequency and downtime • Successful digitization implementation milestones
