An exciting opportunity for an experienced R&D Section Head to lead technical development activities and drive product innovation. The role involves managing engineering teams and ensuring the successful delivery of new products aligned with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership, guidance, and supervision to R&D engineers. Plan and manage product development projects from concept to launch. Define product specifications based on business and customer requirements. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations. Oversee design reviews, prototyping, testing, and validation activities. Ensure products meet performance, quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Improve product design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Support value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives. Ensure proper documentation of drawings, specifications, test results, and change management. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams for smooth product introduction. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Identify technical risks and implement corrective actions when needed.
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).7+ years of experience in R&D or product development. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role. Strong knowledge of product design, testing, and validation processes. Good project management and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
