Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading solar energy projects from the initial lead generation and sales phase through engineering design and pricing, to full technical supervision of implementation and commissioning. The goal is to deliver integrated energy solutions that achieve maximum efficiency and the best return on investment (ROI) for the client.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify sales opportunities across industrial, agricultural, and commercial sectors and manage relationships with key accounts.
- Site Surveys: Conduct precise technical site visits to perform measurements and inspect grid connection points.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare economic feasibility studies, including ROI and Payback Period calculations.
- Closing: Lead technical and financial negotiations to close major deals.
- System Design: Develop comprehensive engineering designs for various systems (On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid) using simulation software such as PVSyst, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
- Procurement Optimization: Select components accurately (Optimized BOM) to ensure the perfect balance between cost and quality.
- BOQ & Tendering: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and analyze price quotations from local and international suppliers.
- Innovative Solutions: Develop advanced solutions for complex systems, including hybrid plants, solar pumping (irrigation), and Medium Voltage (MV) grid connections.
- Energy Storage: Design Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and determine appropriate capacities based on consumption patterns.
- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise installation teams and subcontractors to ensure execution aligns with engineering blueprints.
- Quality Control: Directly supervise the installation of solar panels, mounting structures, and inverters.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, pre-commissioning, and full commissioning phases.
- Safety (HSE): Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across all sites.
- Handover: Manage final project delivery, technical acceptance testing, and coordination with the electricity distribution company for grid integration.
