Your responsibilities
  • Coordinate Site Supervisors and vendor specialists on site
    - Consult and make final decision on technical issues
    - Review / approve Method Statements
    - Control construction work packages for the site with respect to personnel, equipment, materials and documents, incl. availability of method statements, risk assessment and work permits
    - Supervise constr. activities carried out by the subcontractors with respect to compliance with project specifications and safe working procedures and support pre-commissioning activities
    - Coordinate deviation reports and repair works
    - Coordinate tkIS interdisciplinary interfaces
    - Monitor qualification of subcontractors’ personnel together with Site QA/QC Manager
    - Monitor suitability of subcontractors’ equipment
    - Conduct spot check to verify constr. drawings used are latest revision
    - Execute field inspections, record and clear punch items
    - Compile and check as-built documentation from subcontractor(s)
    - Approve discipline progress
    - Report Daily Site Log and maintain discipline-specific constr. data
    - Collaborate with subcontractors’ management, e.g. release quantity surveys, sign off time sheets for extra work orders, review invoices and extra work orders
    - Coordinate elaboration of as build documentation
Activities are performed safely and in compliance with the applicable project OSH policy, local laws and statutory requirements, such as relevant tkIS guidelines or directives
- Construction activities are executed according to contractual obligations / specifications with regard to quality and time schedule
- Coordination with subcontractors’ manag. and vendor specialists


Your profile

Job specification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Materials Engineering


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in painting, coating, insulation, or related construction activities within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry


  • Strong knowledge of industrial coating systems, surface preparation standards, and insulation materials (hot, cold, cryogenic, acoustic)


  • Familiarity with international standards such as SSPC, NACE, ISO, ASTM, and API


  • Experience in supervising site execution including manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and daily work activities


  • Ability to review and interpret technical documents such as drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection test plans


  • Language Skills: good spoken and written English


  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements related to painting, blasting, and insulation works


  • Experience in quality control coordination including inspections, test reports, and compliance with QA/QC procedures


  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams


  • Analyzing and problemsolving skills for resolving technical and execution challenges


  • Ability to handle complex site activities independently and ensure work is completed according to schedule and standards
