Job Title:Tender Architecture Engineer (5–10 Years Experience) Employment Type:Full-Time Work Location:Remote (6th of October Branch) / KSA Projects Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Tender Architecture Engineer to support the tendering and pre-contract phase of projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on architectural quantity take-offs, BOQs, technical compliance, and coordination to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant tender submissions in line with KSA standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities1. Tender & Pre-Contract Activities Prepare detailed architectural quantity take-offs and BOQs based on tender drawings, specifications, and employer requirements. Review tender documents, scope of work, specifications, and drawings to identify discrepancies, risks, exclusions, and clarifications.2. Technical & Compliance Review Review architectural drawings and specifications for compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), local authority requirements, and project standards. Ensure alignment with client, consultant, and authority requirements (Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.). Propose value engineering and alternative materials suitable for the KSA market without affecting quality or approvals.3. Coordination Coordinate with structural, MEP, planning, procurement, and contracts teams during the tender stage. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations compliant with project specifications and KSA standards.4. Tender Documentation Prepare architectural technical queries (TQs), clarifications, and deviations during tendering. Support preparation of technical proposals, method statements, and material compliance submissions.5. Market & Cost Awareness Maintain updated knowledge of KSA construction market prices, finishes, and suppliers. Assist in benchmarking costs based on previous KSA projects.6. Post-Tender Support Support tender negotiations, clarifications, and value engineering discussions with clients and consultants. Assist in the handover of tender documents, BOQs, and clarifications to the project execution team after award. Qualifications & Requirements Experience5–10 years of experience in architectural works within contracting companies. Strong experience in tendering, BOQ preparation, and quantity take-offs for KSA projects is mandatory. Education Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related discipline. Technical Knowledge Good understanding of architectural finishes, materials, construction methods, and detailing commonly used in KSA projects. Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), international standards, and consultant specifications. Software Skills Proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit. Experience with BIM-based quantity take-offs is a plus. Communication & Coordination Ability to work under tight tender deadlines. Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors. Language Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Arabic is a strong advantage. KSA Experience Previous experience working on Saudi Arabia projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, infrastructure, or government projects) is highly preferred.
