DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Invoicing in Sydney.




This position supports the Centre of Excellence Operations by ensuring the accurate and timely execution of financial transactions, with responsibility for issuing AR invoices and processing AP invoices.


Your typical day at DSV:




  • Raise AR invoices for customers and overseas offices.

  • Perform auto-rating and validate charges in preparation for invoicing, as well as process AP invoices from service providers.

  • Process intercompany invoices in line with global deadlines and finalise profit share in accordance with global agreements.

  • Manage shared inboxes to ensure timely and effective communication.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries from customers and service providers.

  • Adhere to local and global policies to achieve key objectives and actively participate in team meetings.

About you:





  • Financial Competency: You have a solid understanding of revenue, costs, and profit, and are confident in issuing accurate invoices to customers.

  • Operational Excellence: You take pride in your attention to detail and high-quality work. You have a foundational understanding of freight forwarding principles, with a strong interest in operational finance.

  • Process Driven: You follow established processes to achieve desired outcomes and work collaboratively to drive efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Problem Solving: You demonstrate ownership and initiative, and proactively escalate issues or observations that may result in revenue loss for corrective action.

  • Tech-Savvy: You have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CargoWise One or a comparable Transport Management System (TMS). You are comfortable embracing new technology and digitisation.

  • Adaptable & Resilient: You are eager to grow and develop within a dynamic, evolving organisation.
