Job Title: Pricing & Patient Access Program Lead


About Job:


The Pricing & Patient Affordability Program Lead designs, governs, and optimizes pricing strategies and patient affordability programs across the product lifecycle to enable equitable access and sustainability. The role partners cross‑functionally to balance value, affordability, and compliance, engaging external stakeholders and shaping related policy to improve patient outcome


Accountabilities:


  • Pricing Strategy & Governance: Set and execute lifecycle pricing; run benchmarking and scenario analyses; lead governance, dossiers, and authority submissions; track EDA reviews and drive response actions.


  • Patient Affordability Programs (PAPs): Design and operate PAPs (eligibility, benefits, guardrails); ensure sustainability and compliance with Finance/Legal/Compliance; monitor uptake, abandonment, and financials; optimize via KPIs.


  • Cross‑Functional Enablement: Close patient‑journey gaps with partners; equip field and internal teams with compliant tools, training, and messaging.


  • Policy & Stakeholder Engagement: Track pricing/affordability policy trends; convert insights into strategy; support payer negotiations with pricing cases and PAP evidence.


  • Digital, Operations & Vendors: Manage PAP vendor ecosystem for experience, controls, and scale; advance digital enrollment and omnichannel integration to speed therapy start and transparency.


  • Performance & Risk: Define/report KPIs (starts, time to therapy, abandonment, adherence, PAP use, cost per start, compliance); lead governance forums and communicate decisions; identify and mitigate pricing, design, data, supply, and reputation risks.


Essential Skills / Experience:


  • 5+ years in market access, pricing, and key account management.


  • Led pricing governance and EDA/UPA submissions; designed/optimized PAPs in Egypt.


  • Skilled in pricing strategy, benchmarking, gross-to-net, affordability modeling, and scenarios.


  • Deep EDA and global pricing policy knowledge; build pricing business cases for faster reimbursement/access.


  • Strong on AZ compliance, local regs, anti‑inducement, data privacy, and vendor controls.


  • Strategic, influential, cross‑functional leader with vendor management, persuasive communication, problem solving, and change management.
