As our new Sales Application Specialist you will be responsible for supporting customer’s projects and doing lighting planning and design of street, tunnel and headlight lighting. This includes relationship building with customers necessary to achieve business objectives for the region. This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way in Cairo, Egypt working with the Saudi Arabian Market with Signify.
- Responsible for assessing and validating the potential application of our products to meet the desired lighting solution by evaluating technical feasibility and customer requirements.
- Creates awareness and understanding of the role lighting plays in enhancing spaces by educating customers on lighting principles and benefits.
- Explains how to achieve desired light effects and levels with products in our portfolio by providing detailed product knowledge and application techniques.
- Assesses potential application of company products to meet customer's needs through analysis of customer specifications and environmental factors.
- Prepares detailed designs and layouts for the implementation of an appropriate lighting solution using technical drawings and software tools.
- Supports in achieving Sales targets by collaborating with sales and specification teams and providing technical expertise to close deals.
- Drives for high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring solutions meet expectations and addressing any issues promptly.
- Recognized as subject matter expert on photometry and product performance by staying current with industry standards and product innovations.
- Collaborates effectively and efficiently with colleagues and departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer service.
More about you

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related technical field to understand lighting principles and product applications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales support or application engineering within the lighting industry, with proven expertise in lighting solutions and customer engagement.
- Certification in lighting design or photometry to validate technical proficiency and credibility in product performance and application.
