- Develop and execute sales and export strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables within assigned international territories.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new export business opportunities with key distributors, importers, wholesalers, and retail chains in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international clients, fully understanding their product specifications, quality standards, certifications, and logistics requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing, quotations, negotiations, contracts, and order confirmations, in alignment with company policies and export regulations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify global market trends, seasonal demand, pricing benchmarks, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities in fresh and frozen produce.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, product proposals, and samples, highlighting product quality, origin, certifications (e.g., GlobalG.A.P., BRC, ISO), and supply capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, export volumes, margins, pipeline activity, and market feedback to senior management.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer meetings, and industry events related to fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.
- Stay up to date with export regulations, customs requirements, cold chain logistics, and food safety standards in target markets.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members, sharing market knowledge and best practices in produce export sales.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales and exports of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables (mandatory).Fluency in English is a must (spoken and written).Strong knowledge of international produce markets, seasonal cycles, pricing dynamics, and cold chain logistics.Proven ability to manage key export accounts and close international deals.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
