Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing all accounting and financial control functions, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with Egyptian laws and regulations, and timely financial reporting. The role provides strong financial governance, supports management decision-making, and ensures effective use of ERP systems, particularly Odoo, to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage daily accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and inventory.
-Lead monthly and annual financial closing and reporting.
-Monitor production costs, COGS, and cost variances in a food manufacturing setting.
-Ensure accurate financial data and reporting through the Odoo ERP system.
-Manage tax filings (VAT, income tax, withholding) and handle governmental relations.
-Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
-Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
-Lead and follow up with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA is a strong plus).
-7–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in food manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong experience in cost accounting, inventory control, and COGS.
-Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting, Inventory, and Costing modules).
-Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations.
-Experience dealing with audits and governmental authorities.
-Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
