Role Overview
The Content & Social Media Specialist will create, manage, and publish content across social media, blogs, success stories, email, and the website. This role owns the content calendar, produces short-form video, writes copy, and ensures brand consistency across all digital assets. It is a hands-on, creative position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and takes ownership without constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production & StrategyPlan and manage a multi-channel content calendar.
Create social posts, captions, blogs, newsletters, and landing page copy.
Repurpose podcasts, webinars, and case studies into short-form content, identifying relevant content topics.
Write value-driven messaging aligned with brand voice and SEO briefs.
Collaborate with freelancers on templates or light design needs, using Canva.
Social Media ManagementManage day-to-day posting across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
Support the launch of TikTok and explore Pinterest as a potential channel.
Produce short-form video content for Reels and TikTok in collaboration with cross-functional and sales teams.
Monitor engagement and respond to comments, messages, and interactions.
Maintain a consistent tone, visual identity, and messaging across platforms.
Website & Email ContentUpdate website content, blogs, success stories, and landing pages.
Assist with writing newsletters and educational email content.
Collaboration & OperationsWork closely with the SEO Specialist to align topics and follow content briefs.
Support internal team members with product-focused content needs.
Track content and social performance to optimize future content.
Qualifications
Experience2–4 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
Strong experience with short-form video required.
Experience with nonprofit, B2B, or service-based industries is a plus.
SkillsExcellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Ability to create native-feeling social content.
Comfort using Canva or similar tools for light design work.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content streams.
Proactive, creative, and highly resourceful mindset with strong initiative.
