About the Role




As the Operations Manager – E-Commerce, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company’s Shopify store, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for customers. You will play a key role in managing product listings, collections, launches, promotions, and all aspects of store merchandising. Your work will directly impact sales, customer satisfaction, and brand reputation.




This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can balance creative merchandising with operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with marketing, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure the store operates smoothly and meets performance goals.




Key Responsibilities




Your responsibilities will include owning and managing the Shopify store on a daily basis. You will be responsible for uploading and maintaining fashion products, including detailed information such as size charts, colors, fabrics, fits, and pricing. Managing collections by season, drop, category, and campaign will be a key part of your role, ensuring the store always reflects current trends and seasonal campaigns.




Ensuring that product imagery, descriptions, and tagging align with brand standards will be critical. You will plan and execute merchandising for the homepage, collections, and product detail pages (PDPs), making sure the store is visually appealing and easy to navigate. You will also manage launches, drops, promotions, and markdowns, optimizing product presentation and availability for maximum conversion.




Your role will also include coordinating inventory availability with warehouses and physical stores, monitoring size curves, best sellers, slow movers, and stock aging, and ensuring accurate stock synchronization to prevent overselling. You will oversee order fulfillment, returns, and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and satisfying customer experience.




Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), sell-through, and returns will be essential to identify opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with marketing on campaigns, paid ads, email, and SMS promotions, using data-driven insights to optimize store performance and reduce returns.




Preparing regular performance reports and providing actionable insights to management will be part of your responsibilities. You will ensure the online shopping process, including checkout, payment, and delivery, is smooth and efficient, while actively addressing customer feedback to improve satisfaction. Finally, you will focus on providing accurate sizing, fabric, and fit information to reduce customer confusion and returns.




Qualifications & Experience




To be successful in this role, candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Strong proficiency in Shopify is mandatory, with proven experience managing high-SKU catalogs, including multiple size and color variants.




You should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the retail industry, with strong exposure to fashion and apparel e-commerce operations. Familiarity with fashion-specific KPIs such as sell-through rates, size performance, and returns is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required.




This is an office-based role (5 working days per week) located in Zamalek, providing an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and grow within a well-known, reputable company in the fashion industry.
