Position:AWS DevOps Lead
Job Description:As an AWS DevOps Tech Lead, candidate with minimum 8+ years of experience will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance development processes and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable AWS architectures.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices in DevOps and AWS.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends to enhance our cloud strategy.
General DevOps Requirements:
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a complex distributed environment.
- Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and serverless architecture.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
