· Identify, evaluate, and select international suppliers of raw materials, chemicals and services.
· Negotiate contracts, prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with foreign suppliers.
· Manage the full procurement cycle for imports, including purchase orders, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
· Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, reliability, and responsiveness.
· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical handling regulations during procurement.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
· Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and track global price trends of chemicals and intermediates.
· Coordinate with production, R&D, quality assurance, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
· Handle risk management in procurement, including supplier risks, logistics disruptions, and foreign exchange fluctuations.
· Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation in line with company policies.
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.· 1–3 years of experience in foreign procurement, must in the chemical or industrial manufacturing sector.· Strong knowledge of international trade, import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.· Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.· Strong analytical and market research abilities.· Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
