Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Control
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
Coordinate cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing departments
Monitor production output vs. targets and take corrective actions
Balance line efficiency and manpower allocation
2. Cutting Department
Ensure accurate marker planning and fabric utilization
Control fabric consumption and minimize wastage
Supervise spreading, cutting, numbering, and bundling
Coordinate cutting output with sewing lines
3. Sewing Department
Manage sewing line layout and line balancing
Monitor SAM, efficiency, and productivity
Ensure correct operation breakdown and machine usage
Reduce defects, rework, and downtime
Implement productivity improvement methods
4. Washing Department
Plan and control denim washing processes (stone wash, enzyme wash, acid wash, rinse, etc.)
Ensure correct recipe, chemical usage, and washing quality
Coordinate washing output with sewing and finishing
Maintain washing cost and environmental compliance
5. Quality Control
Ensure quality standards at cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing stages
Analyze defect reports and implement corrective actions
Work closely with QA/QC team to reduce rejection rate
Ensure buyer quality requirements are met
6. Manpower Management
Supervise supervisors, line chiefs, and operators
Train staff on productivity, quality, and safety
Control absenteeism and labor efficiency
Maintain discipline and teamwork
7. Cost & Efficiency Control
Control production cost per piece
Reduce fabric loss, washing rework, and overtime
Improve overall factory efficiency and throughput
8. Compliance & Safety
Ensure workplace safety and machine safety
Follow labor law, factory compliance, and environmental standards
Maintain clean and organized production areas (5S)
9. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily production and efficiency reports
Coordinate with merchandising, planning, maintenance, and quality teams
Update management on production status and challenges
