Position Summary
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the complete documentation and compliance process for air shipments, with a primary focus on ACID (Advance Cargo Information) requirements. This role ensures accurate and timely submission of shipment documents, coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders, and adherence to Egyptian Customs regulations to prevent delays, penalties, or additional logistics costs.

Key Responsibilities
ACID & Customs Compliance
Manage the full ACID cycle for all air shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Egyptian Customs requirements.
Prepare, validate, and submit commercial documents (Invoice, Packing List, AWB) on the NAFEZA platform to generate ACID numbers.
Monitor approval status of ACID submissions and resolve rejections or discrepancies promptly.
Supplier & Freight Forwarder Coordination
Coordinate with foreign suppliers to ensure timely document submission on CargoX in line with ACI regulations.
Communicate with freight forwarders to confirm AWB details, shipment readiness, and documentation accuracy.
Documentation Review
Review HS Codes, product descriptions, and commercial documents for customs compliance and alignment with internal standards.
Maintain complete and accurate shipment files for audit purposes.
Shipment Tracking & Issue Resolution
Track all ongoing air shipments to ensure timely arrivals and prevent customs holds or documentation-related delays.
Collaborate with customs brokers to avoid clearance delays and provide any required documents or clarifications proactively.
Process Improvement
Identify gaps in documentation workflows and propose enhancements to improve shipment lead time and minimize logistics costs.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and governmental regulatory requirements.
