We are seeking a highly skilled Demand & Supply Planner to join our growing team. This critical role acts as a link between sales, operations, and finance, ensuring optimal availability, inventory levels,meeting customer demand, and maximizing profitability.
Demand Planning Responsibilities
Forecasting:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical modeling, historical
data analysis, market trends, and business intelligence.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities, new
accounts, and other market factors into the forecast.
Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on actual sales, supply, market changes,
and other relevant factors.
Identify and analyze forecast variances, providing insights and recommendations for
improvement.
Develop and maintain forecast accuracy metrics and reporting.
 Demand Collaboration:
Facilitate regular meetings with sales, marketing, and other relevant stakeholders to
review demand forecasts and discuss potential risks and opportunities.
Gather market intelligence and customer insights to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Work cross-functionally to align demand plans with overall business objectives.
Supply Planning Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while
minimizing inventory holding costs.
Implement inventory control policies and procedures.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turns, and other key metrics.
Identify and address potential inventory imbalances, such as excess or obsolete
inventory.
Communicate supply forecasts to procurement and finance teams.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective
delivery of materials.
Order Scheduling:
Develop and maintain order preparation plans that align with required delivery dates
and available capacity.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure order preparation plans are feasible and
achievable.
Monitor and analyze order preparation performance against planned targets.
Identify and address potential order preparation bottlenecks and constraints.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Identify and implement opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and
effectiveness.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.
General Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and
insights related to demand and supply. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track
key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings to stakeholders
System Management: Utilize and maintain demand and supply planning software and ensure
data integrity.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve demand and supply planning KPIs, processes and procedures.
Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and procurement.
 Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve potential demand and supply issues.
 Project Management: Participate in and/or lead projects related to demand and supply
