• Conduct radio surveys on behalf of different classification societies for all gmdss equipment.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of marine equipment and systems on-site and at client locations.
• Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in marine machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and feedback for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex service challenges.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
• Ensure all service activities adhere to company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in commissioning new marine systems and participate in sea trials as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and service materials.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through training and industry developments.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, electronics or communication Engineering, or a related field.
• From 0 to 2 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of marine GMDSS equipment, systems, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work in an on-site (office/outdoor) environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
