JOB PURPOSE:


Responsible for all Accounts transactions to ensure they are accurately undertaken and completed in accordance with the group policies, procedure and LN compliance. Prepare periodic reports for management, auditors and for tax returns. Responsible for proper reporting and maintenance of fixed asset, Inventory and current liabilities


 


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Accounting & Payments: 


·         Ensure all current liabilities are recorded timely and properly


·         Ensure all expense and inventory transaction are entered timely and properly to account heads and dimensions. 


·         Finalize all accounting entries related to General ledger, Payable and expenses.  


·         Ensure all transactions are adequately supported with required approvals 


·         Review the release of payments to suppliers ensuring the payment orders are for due amount and the payments are properly allocated


·         Review all petty cash payments and receipts to ensure timely recording and reconciliation on daily basis.


Fixed Asset and Inventory Book:


·         Ensure the timely posting of fixed assets procured with proper management approval.


·         Responsible for recording and capitalizing the assets with required codification and dimensions in a timely manner


·         Responsible for monitoring the asset work in progress and ensuring capitalization


·         Coordinate periodical fixed assets physical verification


·         Responsible for ensuring the book inventory reflects


Payroll review and salary disbursement:


·         Prepare and provide the required deduction / addition list to local HR Admin for adjustment in Monthly salary payments.


·         Receive the payroll details from local HR, review tabulation accuracy, upload entry to BaaN


·         Create the salary bank transfer online and required cash cheques for disbursement


·         Ensure all control accounts are matched in the system and cash balance is verified


Budget preparation and control, Manage Financial Activities:


·         Run the Trial Balance, review and report discrepancy (if any) on a regular basis


·         Close the books of accounts on monthly basis with required coordination from logistic and production departments


·         Ensure all closing entries are updated in the system with required approvals


·         Review and update the required entries and schedules for prepayment including


·         Deposits and Margins, provisions and accruals. Ensure the bank and related party balances are reconciled on at least monthly basis


·         Prepare ad hoc report requested by management Be involved in the Annual / Interim and Internal Audit coordination


·         Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecast base data


·         Stand-in during the Senior Accountant absence for any work


 


Financial & Tax Audit supports:


·         Responsible for monthly data required for tax returns and provide to external auditors


·         Responsible for tax payment transfers to tax authorities


Other:


·         Implement and enforce country/regional procedures (consistent with the Group policies and procedures)


·         Coordinate for the creation of Master Data requirements in the ERP system.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:


Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 
•    Certification in Accounting desirable


Required Experience:
•    3 - 5  years related experience in  accounting and reporting in Manufacturing sector


Job-Specific Skills:
•    Hands-on experience with ERP and BI computer systems.
•    Good MS office skills
•    Strong Accounting knowledge
•    Strong Teambuilding skills 
•    English and Arabic language (preferred)
