- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and international standards.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the accounting function.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.10-25 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to managerial -responsibilities preferred.Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.Experience in manufacturing or construction materials industries is an advantage.Ability to work on-site and adapt to evolving business needs.
