- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and equipment used in the production of glass wool and rock wool insulation materials.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical failures, recommending and executing corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including technical reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
- Ensure all mechanical operations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of new technologies, such as STM Technology, to advance manufacturing capabilities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for procurement and installation of mechanical components.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in regular inspections and audits to uphold quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and production processes.Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong communication and documentation abilities.Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Willingness to work on-site in an office-based arrangement.
