- Conduct inspections during all fabrication stages (cutting, bending, welding, assembly, painting).
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, WPS, PQR, and project quality requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks and ensure tolerances are as per standards.
- Monitor welding processes and ensure welders follow approved procedures.
- Conduct visual welding inspection and coordinate NDT activities (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT).
- Prepare quality inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action follow-ups.
- Review material certificates, traceability records, and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure implementation of QMS procedures (ISO 9001 / ISO 3834 / EN standards).
- Coordinate with production, planning, and engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure final inspection before dispatch and prepare release notes.
- Support internal and external audits.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.3–5 years of experience in steel fabrication quality.Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, MIG/MAG).Familiar with AWS, ASME, EN, and ISO fabrication standards.Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or NDT Level II are preferred.Strong reporting and documentation skills.
