Network Administration:

• Configure, manage, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems and outages promptly.
• Ensure network availability, reliability, and scalability for all users and systems.
• Implement network policies, procedures, and best practices.

2. Security Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Monitor network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
• Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory requirements.

3. System Administration & Support:

• Provide support for network-related hardware and software issues.
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network access control.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory of network equipment.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement upgrades, patches, and system improvements.

4. Monitoring & Reporting:

• Continuously monitor network health and security logs.
• Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and system utilization.
• Recommend improvements to optimize network performance and enhance security.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network administration and security.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, and routing/switching concepts.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with network security standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid networks.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, antivirus solutions, and SIEM tools.
• Experience in implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Prior experience in enterprise network environments with large-scale deployments
