BMS Electrical Engineer

  • Design, implement, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) for various facility types, ensuring optimal integration with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and review BMS control strategies, sequences of operation, and system architectures to meet project specifications and client requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve BMS-related issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Program, configure, and calibrate BMS controllers, sensors, and field devices for HVAC, lighting, and energy management applications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure compliance with industry standards and project deliverables.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and facility staff on BMS operation and maintenance.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance data to recommend improvements for energy efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay updated on the latest BMS technologies, protocols, and best practices to enhance system functionality and client satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in BMS engineering, installation, or maintenance.Proven expertise in programming and configuring BMS controllers and field devices.Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems integration.Experience with BMS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders.Willingness to work on-site as required for project execution and support.Familiarity with energy management principles and building automation standards.
