- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring all documentation and records are prepared and available.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in the supply chain, import/export, or logistics industry is an advantage.
