- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits of materials, components, and finished products to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Analyze quality data, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to address non-conformities and process deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive measures.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address recurring quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating audit processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging quality control methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management preferly at governmental university 3 to 7 years of proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within steel manufacturing or industry.Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (such as ISO 9001).Experience with inspection, testing, and measurement equipment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to inspect welding according to American Standards . Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
